Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Former ABC juggernaut “Lost” has been a bit lost this season, losing viewers and losing momentum. Now, ABC is trying to fix all that — by ending the show in 2010.
That leaves 48 more episodes for the series’ makers to bring the show to a “highly anticipated and shocking finale,” ABC says. Starting next year, “Lost” will start its 16-episode season in January and run uninterrupted until the end of the season, according to the AP.
“By officially announcing exactly when that ending will be, the audience will now have the security of knowing that the story will play out as we’ve intended,” executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse said in a statement.
