Robert C. Weishar, age 84, of Chicago, IL, passed away at Lincoln Park Hospital Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 12:05 p.m. He was born June 10, 1922 in Springfield, IL to the late Leo C. and Bertha W. Schmitt Weishar. Preceded in death by his wife Lucille Lewis; daughters, Patricia (James) Gutzwiller of Tinley Park and son Michael C. Weishar of Eugene, OR; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago, IL. Lifetime member of University of Illinois Alumni Association, he enjoyed traveling and was a part time travel agent after retirement in Chicago. He was a United State Army Veteran serving in WWII in Europe. Retired as a comptroller and worked for Pillsbury, Libby and Nestle Co.
