Frances Konar, age 94, of Lansing, formerly of the East side, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. She is survived by three children Fran (Tim) Brady, Barbara Konar and Joann (Fred) Elsner; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph and her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m. from the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing to St. George Catholic Church, 9546 S. Ewing, Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, beginning at 9 a.m. Mrs. Konar was a member of the Christian Mothers and KSJA. Info 708-474-0024.
