I found your article “Waiting until marriage for sex: Bad idea” (“Hump Day” column by Dustin J. Seibert, May 2) totally refreshing. There is nothing wrong with “responsible” adults partaking in consensual premarital sex. I am fabulous and soon-to-be 50 years old, never married and no kids, and I still enjoy an old-fashioned, non-committal “roll in the hay” with the man of my choice.
I think the two words that one should keep in mind are (1) responsible and (2) non-committal. One must “take care of their business” concerning health, as well as making sure that you have not “gotten busy” with a fatal attraction. If everything’s in order, well, crack that headboard baby!
