Regis May Leven, 57, of Cary, IL, died peacefully after a long illness. Mrs. Leven was born in Miami, FL. She moved with her family to Port Washington, NY and later to Newton, CT, where she attended both St. Rose and Newton High Schools. She graduated from the University of Hartford and began her career in the Hartford area and later in the Chicago area. Her degree was in marketing, but her flair for style is how she will be remembered. Mrs. Leven was a devoted wife, who will be dearly missed. She touched countless lives and was a true lifelong friend to many. She loved to travel, enjoying the sights and sounds of the country. She loved the arts, reading and learning. She is survived by her husband, Gary; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roman of Newton, CT; her sister, Paula Roman Todd of Granby, CT, her brother, David Roman and his wife, Deborah of North Granby, CT; stepsons, Benjamin (Stacy) Leven and Jeffrey (Robin) Leven; grandchildren, Zackary and Hayden; her nephews, Jonathan Todd and David Roman Jr. and niece, Elizabeth Roman.
