Henry DeWitt Pope, 66, of San Diego, CA, formerly of Winnetka, IL, died Saturday, April 29. He was born Dec. 3, 1940 and grew up in Winnetka. He is survived by his brother, Roger; sister, Sabina; and three children: Amy, Jorie and Tom. Services will be held at the Winnetka Congregational Church on Saturday, May 19 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Surf Rider Foundation to clean the oceans.
