Chicago: A few scattered fair-weather clouds, but mainly sunny skies today. Warm air riding gusty southwest winds will push afternoon highs into the mid to upper 80s-most likely the warmest day so far in 2007. Clouds increase with a chance of showers or thunderstorms later tonight

HIGH: 87

LOW: 68

Note: Predicted high and low temperatures on the Tribune weather page are chronological–the “high” refers to the maximum reading expected during the day and the “low” is the minimum reading expected the following night.
