David P. DiLeone, 55, of Port Barrington, IL, formerly of Prospect, CT, beloved son of the late Hugo and Emily, nee Gaylord, DiLeone; loving brother of Vernadene (Nicholas) Cicchetti of Waterbury, CT, Deborah Brodeur of Naugatuck, CT, Lois DiLeone and Pamela (Clint) Brandien of Prospect, CT; fond uncle of one niece, five nephews, two great-nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins; devoted to his best friend and loving girlfriend Leslie Paset. David was intrigued by the wonders of nature and reveled in its mysteries and gifts. His passion for gardening, his love of nature and his talent for mastering any endeavor drew admiration from those who knew him, especially Leslie. He was most proud of being an Illinois “Master Gardener.” He was adored by Emma, Grace, Zephyr, Tank, Neve, Smitty (sometimes), and all “The Kids” at Assisi. David attended Wilby High School and the Connecticut School of Electronics. Visitation Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 6 to 8 p.m. at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL. Chapel service Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. Interment private. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, Prospect, CT.
