Most of Paul McCartney’s post-Beatles solo albums and those with his group Wings soon will be available digitally for the first time, EMI Music and Capitol Records said Monday. That makes him the final Beatle to have solo albums online.
* Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty asked India’s Supreme Court on Monday to shift an obscenity case against her and Hollywood star Richard Gere to a nearby court so she can fight the allegations, her lawyer said. A judge issued an arrest warrant last month for Gere and summoned Shetty to his court, saying that Gere’s kissing of the actress at a public event in New Delhi contravened India’s strict public obscenity laws.
* Actor Sylvester Stallone pleaded guilty Tuesday to bringing vials of a restricted muscle-building hormone into Australia. The court hearing Stallone’s case can only impose a maximum fine of $22,000.
