Marjorie A. Boyink, age 68, of Grand Rapids, MI went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 13, 2007. She is survived by her nieces and nephew, Melissa Boyink, Kathy Boyink, Brian (Dawn) Boyink; great nephew, Joshua Boyink; and sisters-in-law, Sharon Boyink and Karen Boyink Balavitch. Marjorie graduated from Grand Haven High School, received a diploma from Hackley Hospital, School of Nursing, received her BSN from the University of Illinois at the Medical Center, and her MS in Nursing Administration from DePaul University. Marjorie had an extensive nursing career which culminated as the Clinical Nurse Director at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and a Visiting Instructor at the Kirkhof School of Nursing at Grand Valley State University. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI with Chaplain Carol Flietstra officiating. Interment Lake Forest Cemetery in Grand Haven, MI. Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
