James Bernard O’Boyle passed away May 12, 2007. He was 86, but young at heart. U.S. Army Veteran WWII, served with the 149th Combat Engineers Co. B. in Europe. Beloved husband of the late Carmella, nee Napoli; devoted son of the late Owen and Mary O’Boyle; he was a loving brother and was preceded in death by his sibling Mae Ertle (the late Louis), William, John and Ann O’Boyle; dear brother-in-law of Martin (late Mary Lou Napoli), Madeline (Albert) White, Alexander Napoli, Josephine (Robert) Jones and the late Julius Napoli; kind uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews in the Ertle, Napoli and O’Boyle families. Visitation Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 18022 Dixie Highway, Homewood. Funeral Friday, 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
