William “Bill” Mamula, 51 of Jefferson Hills, PA. passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was the beloved son of the late John W. and Desanka T. Mamula of Clairton and Jefferson Hills, PA. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School (class of 1974) and Penn State University (class of 1978) and was a member of the Upsilon chapter of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. Bill was a member of SNF Lodge 88, St. George, of Clairton, PA. He was a successful business owner, originally operating a Money Mailer franchise and later as owner of Diversified Auto Sales. Through both businesses Bill made many friends and earned a reputation as a hard working, very fair man. He is survived by his dear older brother, Donald (Linda) Mamula of Mill Creek, WA. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Trebijne and Belgrade. Bill’s tremendous sense of humor and generous spirit graced all our lives. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home at 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Pomen at 8 p.m. Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19th, at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral at 450 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Please Meet At Church. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park on Curry Hollow Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral or CNS Hospice Foundation, 690 E. North Ave, Carol Stream, IL 60188 in memory of Bill.
