Johnny Depp has a man crush — on Keith Richards.
And it’s not just because they both wear eyeliner.
“He was one of the people I admired for what he’s done and how he’s handled it,” Depp says in the June issue of Rolling Stone, on newsstands Friday. “Forty-whatever years of being this god. And he’s just cool.”
Depp, who reprises his role as Jack Sparrow in the upcoming “Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End,” says he drew inspiration for the loopy pirate king from Richards. Richards, not surprisingly, has a small role in the third “Pirates.” He play’s Sparrow’s father, Captain Teague.
Aw, how touching.
