Broecker, age 77, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, of Evergreen Park, passed away May 15, father of the late Michael John Hornung, Constance Ann Hornung, James Edward Hornung and Rose Marie Broecker Crotty; grandfather of Jacob; dear friend of Lucy Reed; brother of the late Edward (the late Genevieve) Broecker, the late Shirley (the late Stanley) Edwards and Margaret (the late Edwin) McDonald; beloved son of the late Edward B. and Margaret M. “Maggie” Broecker; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Private internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
