Henry A. Hild, 85, of Englewood, FL, formerly of Villa Park, IL, passed away May 1, 2007 at the Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans Home. He served in World War II in the U.S. Army, and was a retired electrical engineer with Commonwealth Edison. He volunteered for Parks and Recreation of Villa Park, was an avid fisherman, animal lover, mathematics hobbyist. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; daughter, Linda Soderquist; sister, Laverne Williamson; and four grandchildren, William C. Hild, Lynn Hild, Scott Hild and Charles Soderquist; son, William F. Hild predeceased him. Memorial donations may be made to the Easter Seal DuPage Center, 830 S. Addison, Villa Park, IL 60181.
