The White Stripes don’t seem to be too concerned with their indie cred. They signed on to a major label (Warner Bros.) and used a modern recording facility — a first — for their new album, “Icky Thump,” due June 19, billboard.com reports. Jack and Meg White also recorded music for a Coke commercial for the UK and Australia last year.
