Donald Trump isn’t about to have his own phrase turned around on him.
NBC’s new prime-time schedule left off Trump’s low-rated reality show “The Apprentice,” but the real estate mogul said he’s not fired — he quits.
“It has been such a success, and they [NBC] wanted to do another. But I just don’t have the time. I just can’t do another one,” Trump told TV Guide on Monday.
In a statement issued Friday, Trump said he informed NBC that he is “moving on … to a major new TV venture,” though he did not elaborate, according to Reuters.
Will he miss firing people? No, he told TV Guide, but he will miss doing the show.
