John P. Koch, 84, of Arlington Heights, beloved husband of 60 years to Helen, nee Herff; loving father of John N. (Barbara) Koch, Wayne C. (Mary) Koch, Nancy (Leonard) Marak, William (Dawne) Koch, Ann Marie (Keith) Koerner and the late Barbie and Martin P. Koch; dearest grandfather of Jennifer, L.J. (Kim), Billy (Jill), Darcey (Garth), John R., Adam, Karrie, Kurt, Nicolas and Wayne II; great-grandfather of six. John was the Sextent of St. Mary Cemetery and a member of the Holy Name Society. John will lie in state Friday from 10 a.m. till time of Mass at 10:30 a.m., St. Mary Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 8 p.m. with a eulogy service at 8 p.m. at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 blocks south of Dundee Road), Wheeling.
