Don Galin, a longtime resident of Hinsdale, passed away May 21, 2007, after a lengthy illness due to Alzheimer’s disease. He is survived by his wife Kathy; his son James of Hinsdale; his daughter Kristen of Burr Ridge; his grandchildren Katrina, Sam and Schyler; his son-in-law Jim Karthan; and countless friends and relatives. Cremation has already taken place. There will be a memorial visitation Saturday, May 26, starting at 2 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. memorial service at Gibbons-Elliston Funeral Home, First and Grant Streets, Hinsdale, IL 60521.
