C. Geraldine Gerri Newcomer, age 83, of Chicago, IL died Saturday. She had been employed by the Pennsylvania and New York Central Transportation Company for 35 years, retiring in 1985. A member of the Moody Church. Survived by nephew, John F. Miller of Marshall; and niece, Mary Elizabeth Miller of Hilton Head, SC; great-nieces, Angela Miller-Scalf of Marshall and Molly M. Miller of Milwaukee, WI. A funeral service will be held Friday, 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Marshall, MI. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 2:30, June 2nd at the Covenant House, 2720 W. Foster Ave., Chicago. Memorials to World Missions Moody Church.
