Marv Platt is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Hilli, nee Francis; he was the best dad a daughter could have, Linda-Jo (Nick) Dragash; proud father and pal of Rob (Mary) Platt; and grandfather of Devin and Cameron Platt; cherished and wonderful brother to Lorrie Buxbaum and Dave (Kay) Platt; he was like a brother to Paul and Mimi Francis; fond uncle to all his nieces and nephews; he was a good friend to many. Marv served with the U.S. Army Air Corp 452nd Bomb group WW II E. Anglia. He was a pilot, architect and homebuilder. He studied at IIT. He could build and fix anything including airplanes, boats, motorcycles, antique and classic cars. We all loved your strength and your sunny disposition and will miss you greatly.
