Lake Shore Drive is scheduled to close from 5:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday for the annual Bike the Drive event, during which thousands of cyclists take to the road. Cars cannot drive on the road between Hollywood Avenue and 59th Street during that time. As of Thursday evening, registration for the event was still open at bikethedrive.org.
