Peter Ellery Blanchard died on Tuesday, May 22nd in his Scottsdale, Arizona home of natural causes. He was 68. Peter was born in Winnetka, IL in 1938. He graduated from New Trier in 1956. He received his BA from Cornell University in 1960 and his MBA from Kellogg University in 1980. He was a very optimistic person and had many fond memories of his high school and college experiences. He enjoyed sailing in San Francisco, watching the Cubs or the Bears, and was passionate about gardening. He loved to work and said he would never retire. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Borgstrom; his former wife, Cynthia Blanchard; three children, Christopher Blanchard, Matthew Blanchard and Kara Cummings; and his three grandchildren, Benjamin Cummings, Charles Cummings and Barrett Blanchard.
