William “Bill” Fouty, age 70, of Azle, TX, formerly of Niles and Woodstock, IL, passed on Saturday March 17. Bill was the owner of Belpark Auto Parts in Chicago and Northwest Auto Paint & Supply in Barrington. Bill served on the Board of Directors of the Automotive Wholesalers of Illinois 1989 to 1992. Bill’s love of animals was a way of life for him. He served on the Board of Directors of the Donna Ewing led Hooved Animal Humane Society in Woodstock for 10 years. Survivors include his wife and best friend of 48 years, Judy; loving father of William Jr. (Valerie), Judy (Dean) Polito and Robert; four special granddaughters, Violet and Lillian Fouty and Krista and Nicole Polito; also special friend, Cathe Dargas; two sisters, Alice Switzenberg and Wilma Kimball, both of Michigan; also will be missed by his four latest “shelter” dogs as well as his horses. His phrase of “they’re just looking for a little slice of life” when referring to his pets will always be remembered by those who knew him best.
