Stephen J. Blezien, 44, of Chicago, IL, died in Sedona on March 24, 2007. He was born Dec. 30, 1962 in Chicago to Stephen and Patricia Blezien. He was a graduate of Niles North High School and DePaul University. He obtained a Master’s in Finance at DePaul University in Chicago. Professionally, Stephen held a variety of positions including general accounting, teaching for the Chicago Board of Education and recently as a sales associate with Tommy Hilfiger. He was in Sedona visiting to help his mother as she recovered from surgery. Stephen leaves behind his mother, Patricia Blezien of Chicago and Sedona Arizona; and his brother, Michael Blezien of Cottonwood, AZ; his father, (deceased) was a psychologist with the Board of Education; his mother, a teacher, retired to Arizona; his uncle, Michael Blezien of Arlington Hts.; aunt, Mary Francis; and other aunts, and many cousins. A memorial service was held at St. Andrews Church in Sedona on April 18th. He was a member of St. Stanislaws Kostka Church, 1327 N. Noble St., and his funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on June 6th. He will then be interred at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
