Regina “Gina” Maria Markovic passed away April 25, 2007. She was born on September 2, 1913, in the former Czechoslovakia and moved to Budapest, Hungary in 1935. After World War II, she immigrated to Montreal, Canada. In 1968, she married her second husband, Dr. Mihailo A. Markovic, and moved with him to Chicago, Illinois. In Chicago, she enjoyed working in retail sales. Gina spent her winters in Scottsdale, Arizona, and enjoyed volunteering for the Scottsdale Cultural Council.
