Daniel Robert Novy, of Charlotte, NC, died on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. He was born on Sept. 13, 1957 to Lorraine Parker Ziltz and the late Frank Rudolph Novy, Sr. He was employed by Rooms To Go since 2004. Previously for the past 25 years, he was employed by Harrelson Ford and Mazda. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Susan, nee Heaslip Novy; his children, Jason Novy of Dallas, NC, Justin Novy of Charlotte, NC, Heather Alexander of New Mexico, Justin Alexander and Ryan Novy of Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law, Dorothy Heaslip Bard. He is the brother of Frank Novy, Jr., Diane Voskuil, Nancy Reach, Lorie Brocato and Dawn Perillo, brothers-in-law Craig Heaslip and Neil Heaslip, Jr. and sister-in-law Cheryl Hansen. He is also survived by two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Christ Episcopal Church, 1412 Providence Road. The family will receive friends in the Gathering Space following the service. The family would like to thank the staff of Carolinas Medical Center, ICU for their caring support.
