Bernice C. “Bea” Redman, age 82, of Grayslake, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born in Chicago on May 9, 1925 to the late William and Frances Burbach. Bea was a registered nurse for 53 years and worked at Condell as the night supervisor for 34 years. A member of St. Gilbert Catholic Church for 50 plus years, Bea was a member of their various organizations including the Birthday Club, the Leisure Club, the Rosary Club, and the National Catholic Society of Foresters. Survivors include her children: Lawrence “Larry” (Maria) Redman, Daune V. (Pam) Redman, Paulette (Pat) Ruckoldt and Gayle (Rex) Sanderson; her grandchildren: Sean, Regina, Jeremy, Joel, Joshua, Kelly, Julie, Sandra, Shannon, Sheila, Jamie and Christina; and her great grandchildren: Devin, Cade, Blaine, Casandra, Colin, Dominic and Savannah. Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Daune Albert Redman; four sisters; one brother; and her great grandson, Jay Ortiz. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, June 2 at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Friends of the family may visit from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 1 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030.
