Swajkowski Smith , age 84, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2007 with his family by his side, beloved husband of Bernadette; loving father of Mark, Roseann Murphy, Deborah (Roger) Weeden, Michael Swiatowiec and Joseph Swiatowiec; cherished grandfather of Cassie, Eddie and Christopher Murphy, Alexander and Kelsey Weeden, Megan, Tim and Skylar Swiatowiec; dear brother of Raymond (Mary) and Melvin (Harriett); fond uncle of many. Funeral 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007, from Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, to St. Constance Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles. A U.S. Army WWII Veteran, member of V.F.W. Park Ridge Post #3579, Marble Helpers Union Local 87, Knights of Columbus Tante Council #1567, a dedicated member of St. Constance Church for 43 years where he was a member of Holy Name Society, Young at Hearts and an usher.
