Admit it: You’ve been known to order margaritas just so you can sip out of those big, fun glasses. But if you want a margarita quick, with no frills, check out these spots that serve margs in simple plastic or Styrofoam cups.
– Chipotle Mexican Grill locations throughout the city have a $3.75 margarita mixed up and served in a lovely plastic cup. But don’t think about taking it to-go — you’ve got to sit and sip it at your table.
– El Ranchito (2829 N. Milwaukee Ave. 773-227-1688) in Logan Square serves a 32-ounce margarita swimming in plastic for $9.99. But if you can find one of the many coupons floating around the nearby neighborhoods (trust us, it’s not hard), you can get it for $6.99.
– Arturo’s Tacos (2001 N. Western Ave. 773-772-4944) in Bucktown serves strawberry and mango frozen margaritas fresh in the Styrofoam for only $4.75. Arturo’s is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, serving alcohol from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., so you can get your ‘rita fix just about whenever it hits.
