Bruce John Briesch, died on June 4, 2007. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Born Feb. 15, 1943 in Chicago, Bruce grew up in Mundelein, IL and graduated from Libertyville High School in 1961 and Northern Illinois University in 1966. He married in 1966 and raised his family in Grayslake and Crystal Lake. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, John and Genevieve Briesch. Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara; his son, Mathew; his daughter, Genevieve Kruse and husband, Matthew; his son, Jason and wife, Kelly; two grandchildren, Madeline and Nathan, his sister, Barbara Kobylinski and husband, Gerry, his brother, John and wife, Cindy. The visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a memorial service at 12:30 p.m., at D’Andrea Banquets, 4419 Northwest Hwy. in Crystal Lake, IL.
