David Gomberg, M.D., born Feb. 10, 1917, passed away June 2, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Sharon, nee Wilder; loving father of Lauri Lazarus and Steven Gomberg; fond brother of Edith (Harold) Krasny Burns and the late Jeanne (Arthur) Weisberger; dear son of the late Samuel and Sarah Gomberg; uncle to Barbara (Donald) Weisberger Champion, Gayle (Lou Riecss) Krasny and Sandy Krasny; grand-uncle to Scott (Sarah Mayer) Champion, Claire and Joel Champion, Roslyn (Charles) Champion Burke, Joshua and Abigail Burke; also survived by devoted care givers Luisa, Ronald, Mercy and Hospice of Illinois; loving friend to many. He was a retired Urologist and graduate of Northwestern University Medical School.
