Preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. and mother, Viola W.; beloved brother of Thomas James Hughes III; and brother-in-law of Margaret. Kindest uncle to Thomas James Hughes IV and the late Nancy Hughes Welsh (2005); and friend to many. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Lake Forest.
