Warren G. Lund, age 72, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2007, beloved husband of Betty L. Lund, nee Higgins; dear brother-in-law of Adrianne “Babe” Lund, Gloria Lund and Donna VanDusen; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Susie, nee Korte, Lund; and two brothers, Richard Lund and Frederick Lund. Visitation Friday, June 8, 2007, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home,649 East 162nd Street (Route 6/159th Street), South Holland, IL, with services conducted by Rev. Bob Bouwer. Interment Washington Memory Gardens, Homewood, Illinois. Mr. Lund was a long-term employee of Commonwealth Edison’s data processing department, retiring in 1992. He served in the U.S. Army with the 71st Ordinance Group, was a member of the last graduating class of Pullman Tech and was a very active member of Faith Church in Dyer, Indiana.
