A meatpacker expanded its voluntary recall of ground beef that might be contaminated with a deadly strain of E. coli bacteria after several people were reported ill in California and other Western states. United Food Group said Wednesday that the voluntary recall applies to an additional 370,000 pounds of ground beef sold in tubes under several brand names, including Moran’s All Natural, Miller Meat Co., Stater Bros., Inter-American Products and Basha’s.
