Stephen “Steve” Sumoski, age 88, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007, late of Plainfield, beloved husband of the late Sally, nee Ptaszkowski, Sumoski; loving father of Thomas (Myrt) Sumoski; dear brother of Helen (the late Anthony) Krakowski; cherished grandfather of Gregg (Kate) Manjerovic; great grandfather of Riley and Tyler; fond brother-in-law of Estelle (the late Stanley) and Mickey (the late Chester) Sumoski; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by brothers: John (Josephine), Walter (Pauline), Alex (Lillian) Sumoski; and sisters: Marie (Ben) Wenda, Henrietta (Andrew) Sahorek and Agnes (John) Redden. Visitation Sunday 3 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr. in Romeoville.
