Chicago: In the far suburbs, early morning temperatures start out in the upper 40s and lower 50s. However, abundant sunshine and light south winds trigger a 30(degrees)+ warm-up with readings in the lower 80s by mid-afternoon. Right along the lakeshore east winds hold highs in the 70s.

HIGH: 83

LOW: 58

SUNNY, WARM

Note: Predicted high and low temperatures on the Tribune weather page are chronological–the “high” refers to the maximum reading expected during the day and the “low” is the minimum reading expected the following night.
