Norbert B. Hamot, age 72, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007, at his residence in Plainfield, formerly 35 years in Brookfield. Veteran of the U.S. Army and member of the Carillon V.F.W. Beloved husband of Constance Hamot; loving father of Peter (Kathleen) Hamot, Christina (Brian) Hettrick, Camille (Timothy) Yario and Paul (Laura) Hamot; dear brother of Emily Strenk and Mildred Sinski; cherished grandfather of Timothy Yario, Charlie Hettrick, Peter Hamot, Matthew Hamot and Michael Yario; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Veronica Hamot, also a sister, Lillian Blazewicz and a brother, Edward Hamot. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at the Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Drive in Romeovilee. Funeral Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Andrew Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
