Michael M. “Mike” Cavin, age 54, a resident of Aurora, IL, since 1985, formerly of Downers Grove, IL, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, at his home. He was born Sept. 4, 1952, in St. Louis, MO. Mike is survived by his wife, Jacqueline M., nee Hawbecker, Cavin, whom he married May 11, 1973; two daughters, Liana and Jenna; his mother, Dorothy, nee Johnson Cavin; two siblings, David (Wendy) Cavin and Cheryl (John) Michie; parents-in-law, Hubert and Patricia Hawbecker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark Hawbecker, James (Deborah) Hawbecker, Stephanie Hawbecker and Elizabeth Rynex; nieces and nephews, Geoffrey, Stephanie, Tim, Amanda, Ryan, Ryan J., Kevin, Matthew, Kristen and Tyler. Mike was preceded in death by his father, George Cavin. Mike served in the U.S. Navy for 12 years and went on to help establish Chicago Power Systems Inc., Batavia, IL, with his parents and brother in 1986 which is still family owned today. Visitation Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m., at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Closing Prayers will begin Thursday, 9:45 a.m., from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville.
