Walter C. Matchus D.D.S., age 81, of Crete, IL. Passed away Monday, June 11, 2007. Beloved husband to Sophie S., nee Jurczyk; loving father to Linda S. McIntyre, Dr. James A. (Dana E) Matchus; devoted grandfather to Michael P. (Janice L.) McIntyre, Jennifer A. Matchus and Jacqueline M. Matchus; cherished great-grandfather to Robert J. McIntyre and Lauren M. McIntyre; fond brother to Edward J. (Beatrice) Matchus and John A. (Jean) Matchus; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son Robert and daughter Susan. Funeral Services on Saturday, at 10 a.m. from Rosemoor Funeral Home, 17943 S. Torrence Av., Lansing, IL 60438. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation on Friday, from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Walter was a member of the American Dental Society and a graduate of Loyola University Dental School.
