Michael E. Melnichak, age 77, of Chesterton, IN, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away June 14, 2007 in Valparaiso, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Road, Chesterton, IN. Michael was married to Adrienne Zurek who preceded him. He is survived by brother, William Melnichak of PA; a sister, Leona Lis of PA; sister-in-law, Marian (Donald) Adamczyk of Glenwood, IL.
