James J. Marx, a 78 year old resident of Grayslake, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. He was born in Milwaukee on April 24, 1929 to the late Joseph and Margaret, nee Holverson, Marx. James was a member of St. Gilbert Catholic Church in Grayslake. Survivors include his children, Mary-Margaret Marx and Joseph Marx both of Grayslake; and his sister, Marilyn Marx of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah, nee Salasky, Marx, whom he married on Sept. 3, 1955. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, June 18 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030.
