Peter J. Rauth, 94, of Olympia, WA, died Saturday June 9, 2007 at his home. Mr. Rauth was born April 19, 1913 in Chicago, IL to Peter and Catherine, nee Mayer. He graduated from Lane Technical High School, Chicago, in 1930. He married former Teresa V. Koenig on October 10, 1936 in Chicago. She died in 1999. From June 1942 to August 2005 the couple lived in Elmhurst, IL. Peter was Lithographer at R.R. Donnelley & Sons. He enjoyed rock hounding, lapidary art and cars. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Harry Field) Rauth Schmidt of San Diego, CA and Kathleen (Carl A.) Rauth Manning of Olympia, WA; one sister, Catherine Rauth-Delaney, Atlanta, GA; also three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. We will miss this kind and loving father, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle and friend. Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst, from 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday. Prayers Monday, June 18, 2007, 9:30 a.m., to Immaculate Conception Church, mass at 10 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
