Robert J. Tangney, age 87, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2007. He was preceded in death by wives Dorothy Hansen Tangney, Barbara Handtke Tangney and Elizabeth Tangney; Beloved father of Michael (Nancy) Tangney of Calumet City IL, Kathleen (Ronald) Ebert of Schererville IN, Stephen Tangney of Houston TX and Linda (John) Marsh of Monee IL; survived by 10 Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren. Bob was born in Chicago on August 23,1919. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was the Owner-Manager of several Chicago businesses over the years, including Mid-City Supply and Ace Cleaning. Private services will be held for the family following cremation.
