Edward Manacek, 79 years, beloved husband of Mildred, nee Kostelny for 60 years; loving father of Eddie (Gayle) Manacek, Julianne (Gary) Groh and Marianne (Andy) Piraro; Super Papa of Chris, Sara, Eric, Matthew and Mitchell; brother to Ann (Ernie) Schatz and the late Michael (Mary Ann). Private family interment Thursday morning. Celebration of Edward’s life Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Piraro’s residence, 2746 Summit Dr., Glenview, 60025. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Foundation and Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center.
