On her graduation day she married Morton Grodzins, and their marriage was a true union of minds and hearts. Morton, a Professor of Political Science, taught at the University of Chicago from the mid-1940’s until his death in 1964. Ruth lived in Hyde Park for over 60 years, where her professional and social life flourished.
