Daniel C. Briney, age 78, of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007. He is survived by his wife Florence, nee Lavin, of 55 years; his children, Daniel Jr. (Beverly), William, Donald, Kathleen (John) Dubach, Michael (Valerie), Barbara and Richard; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Laurel (late John) Neissink and Elaine (late Jack) McInerney; and many nieces and nephews; he is preceded in death by his parents William and Alice, nee Johnson; his son Mark; brothers William, John and Wayne; sisters Alice and Iris. He was a hard worker, loving husband and wonderful father and grandfather all his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, at 11 a.m., at the Schroder Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL.
