William L. Putzbach, WW II Army Veteran, age 81, beloved husband of Taimi, nee Hamalainen; loving father of Bill (Laura) and Dan (Maureen); cherished grandfather of Veronica and Will; dear brother of Robert (Pat); uncle to many and friend to all. Bill enjoyed spending time with his wife Taimi fishing and vacationing in Wisconsin, he was and accomplished tool and die maker, he loved auto racing, hunting, photography, Indian Motorcycles, Midget car racing and his “sweets”. He was a proud army Veteran of WW II and a member of the N.R.A, the G.T.E. Strowger Pioneer Club and V.F.W. Post #15014. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service Wednesday, June 27, lying in state at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3144 Home Ave., Berwyn, IL from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Visitation Tuesday, at 2 to 8 p.m. at Mt.
