Just imagine it: “The Nanny” star Fran Drescher’s voice — and signature shrill laugh — echoing through the halls of Congress.
Drescher, who started the group Cancer Schmancer to advocate for treating women’s cancers, tells Ladies’ Home Journal she has been approached to make a run for a seat on Capitol Hill.
“I have until the end of the summer to decide if I want to do it,” she said. “It’s something that I thought I’d end up moving towards, but I didn’t think that I would do it by the end of the summer!”
