*From the hotel that brought you the $60,000 engagement-ring package, the James Hotel (55 E. Starting at $265, the “Explore” package includes a night’s stay, in-room breakfast for two and two passes to several Chicago attractions, including the John Hancock Observatory, the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, the Museum of Science and Industry and Adler Planetarium. The “Dine” package, starting at $265 per night (depending on availability), comes with a night’s stay, in-room breakfast, cocktails at the Lobby Bar and an exclusive tasting menu at David Burke’s Primehouse.

* If you’re feeling blue, or feel like hearing some good music, check out the “Blue Chicago” package at the InterContinental Chicago (505 N. Michigan Ave.; 312-321-8738). Starting at $229 a night, the package includes overnight accommodations, a tour of Chess recording studio and the Blues Haven Foundation, and VIP passes for a night at Blue Chicago (736 N.
